The Shared Services Staff Accountant is responsible for the journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and daily revenue reporting for multiple C&R locations. This role will also assist with other Shared Services tasks such as standardizing the COA and reviewing reconciliations to identify mis postings for all C&R.

• Creates journal entries for various C&R properties that have been converted to shared services and prepares the related monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepares daily revenue flash reports and distributes them to the business owners.
• Analyzes financial data to make business decisions surrounding the efforts to standardize the C&R COA.
• Performs variance analyses, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Identifies and drives process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad‑hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Reviews C&R reconciliations, validates adequacy of support, researches and resolves variances, and designs system/process improvements to assist C&R from repeating errors; monitors timeliness of reconciliation completion.
• Assists in preparing allocation models/processes for Shared Service costs such as insurance premiums, medical claims, and PCard reimbursements.
• Assists in the review process of other sub‑functions of the Shared Services teams as needed (ex. review C&R vendor setups for accuracy).
• Acts as a liaison to C&R to assist with setting up new GL accounts and/or helping with accounting guidance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
• Experience with ERP system, ideally SAGE MAS 500 and/or Oracle.
• Understanding of process flows and SOPs.
• Self‑starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Must possess the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and time‑manage effectively for self and others.
