SummaryUnder general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, perform a variety of duties to process check requests and invoices for payment. Prepare and maintain related records and reports to ensure accurate monthly expenses for general accounting month‑end closing.

- Process invoices for goods, services, and employee expense reimbursement for payment.
- Match invoices to supporting documents, verify quantities and pricing, and manage signatures and dates to maximize purchase discounts.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies and missing data.
- Code taxable/non‑taxable disbursements per IRS regulations and ensure proper account distribution to cost center and object code.
- Review vendor master file, ensure correct remittance address, and adjust vendor data as needed.
- Communicate with vendors, purchasing, receiving, and other hospital affiliate departments to resolve unpaid invoices and credit holds.
- Process department requests for checks, ensuring signatures and supporting documents.
- Assign vendor numbers and prepare supporting documents for mailing with check.
- Prepare and maintain related records and reports and comply with policies, procedures, and quality assurance.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of general office systems and accounting procedures through introductory courses.
- Familiarity with computerized systems and ability to operate a personal computer.
- One year related experience or on‑the‑job experience familiar with department policies and procedures.
- Work performed in a typical office environment.
Pay Range: $20.55 – $33.93 per hour.
