Senior Tax Accountant - CPA Firm
$90K-$120K Base | Warwick, RI
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, and consolidated tax returns
- Support tax planning strategies for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
- Conduct technical research on federal and state tax matters
- Review work prepared by staff accountants and help guide their development
- Build and maintain client relationships while managing expectations and deadlines
- Partner with managers and firm leadership on tax compliance, advisory work, and client service needs
- 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST is a plus
- CPA license preferred
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research capabilities
- Experience reviewing tax returns and mentoring junior staff preferred
- CCH Axcess Tax,Document, and Engagement experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
