Accounting & Finance Development Program - Providence, RI

Gilbane's Accounting & Finance Development Program is a comprehensive 2-year rotational experience, designed to develop effective leadership qualities and Accounting capabilities through challenging and wide-ranging experiences, and global relationships. The program builds critical problem solving skills and strengthens business acumen. US-RI-Providence | US-MA-Boston | US-CT-Glastonbury

This is an entry-level role responsible for various duties on rotation through Gilbane's Accounting & Finance team. Assignments include both Corporate Accounting and Project Accounting projects. This position will be based in Providence, Rhode Island, to start, with an option for a 12-month field assignment. The position will begin in May/June 2027, or upon graduate availability.

Rotational areas may include:

• Treasury / Cash Management
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Corporate Accounting / General Ledger
• Project Accounting
• Accounts Payable
• Travel & Expense Reporting
• Insurance

Upon successful completion of the program, various full-time positions with the Accounting & Finance department will be offered.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• Internship or similar experience which supplements educational coursework

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive for results
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. The pay ranges from $31.00 to $35.00 per hour plus benefits and retirement program.
