Senior Tax Accountant - CPA Firm Warwick, RI

A well-established public accounting firm in Warwick, RI, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its tax practice. This role will focus on complex tax preparation and review, tax planning, client advisory, technical research, and mentoring junior staff.

• Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, and consolidated tax returns
• Support tax planning strategies for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
• Conduct technical research on federal and state tax matters
• Review work prepared by staff accountants and help guide their development
• Build and maintain client relationships while managing expectations and deadlines
• Partner with managers and firm leadership on tax compliance, advisory work, and client service needs

• 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST is a plus
• CPA license preferred
• Strong technical tax knowledge and research capabilities
• Experience reviewing tax returns and mentoring junior staff preferred
• CCH Axcess Tax,Document, and Engagement experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
