The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Program Coordinator to join its Energy Efficiency team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing vital federal home energy rebate programs and supporting the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).

The Role:As a Program Coordinator, you will play a central role in the day-to-day operations of our energy efficiency initiatives. You will bridge the gap between technical data management and public engagement, ensuring that energy rebates reach the residents who need them most.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Administration: Review and process rebate applications and invoices with precision.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate program spreadsheets and databases, ensuring federal reporting requirements are met.
- Public Engagement: Act as a point of contact for applicants, providing exceptional customer service and answering basic program questions.
- Marketing & Outreach: Help develop creative materials to promote OER programs across the state.
- Confidentiality: Manage sensitive applicant information with the utmost integrity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry/spreadsheets) and Adobe Acrobat. - Experience: Previous experience in data entry, office administration, or customer service.
