Assistant Superintendent
Position OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations for projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce OSHA standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules.
- Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate effectively with project teams.
- Identify and resolve field issues promptly to avoid delays.
- 5+ years experience as a Superintendent on projects ranging from $500K to $10M.
- Broad experience across multiple construction industry sectors preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic MS Project.
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety precautions.
- Familiarity with construction documents and all phases of construction.
