Position: Laborer - Paving/Milling (Union)

Job Summary

The Laborerwillberesponsibleforassistingwiththepreparation,installation,andmaintenanceofasphalt,workingalongsideskilledworkersandequipmentoperatorstoensuretheefficient,high-quality,andsafecompletionofpavingprojects.

Thisisacross-functionalpositionwithaprimaryfocusonpaving,whilealsoprovidingopportunitiestogaintrainingandexperienceinmillingoperations.

The Laborerwillbeexpectedtoworkeffectivelyacrossbothpavingandmillingcrewsandprovidesupportbasedonoperationalneeds.

Essential Functions

Protectfamilyandfriends.Maintainazero-incidentsafetyenvironmentbyconsistentlyapplyingsafeworkpractices,properlyoperatingtoolsandequipment,andproactivelycommunicatinghazardstopreventinjuries.

Results matter.Ensurejobsitereadinessandefficientmaterialflowbyclearingdebris,markingworkareas,andstagingmaterialstosupportuninterruptedworkflowandcrewproductivity.

Committedtoserve.Supportefficientpavingoperationsbyutilizinghandandpowertoolstoassistinasphaltplacementandcollaboratingwithequipmentoperatorstomaintainsteadyproductionandpropermaterialapplication.

Requirements,Education and Experience

Abilitytoworkflexibleschedulesincludingdays,nights,weekends,andovertimeasneeded.

High School Diplomaor GED preferred.

Previouspavingorconstructionexperiencepreferredbutnotrequired.

Basicknowledgeofconstructiontoolsandequipment.

Demonstratedstrongworkethicandcommitmenttosafety.

Abilitytofollowinstructions,work collaboratively,andcontributetoteamsuccess.

Valid driver’slicenseandreliabletransportation.

Mustbeauthorizedtoworkinthe United States .
