Position: Teller I.- Providence

Coastal1 Credit Union is seeking to hire a Teller for our Angell Street Branch in Providence! The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background with cash-handling experience. As the member's first point of contact, our Tellers develop member relationships while providing knowledgeable, courteous service. They help members understand products, services, and the latest technology banking products by proactively assisting members in accessing products via self‑service tools.

Education

And Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent member service from start to finish with each member.
  • Process all member transactions accurately and promptly, including withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders and inquiries. Perform transactions discreetly and confidentially.
  • Follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for members and Coastal1 Credit Union, adhering to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Complete assigned compliance training within required time frames.
  • Assist members with general account questions within the scope of the role from start to finish. Know when to refer members to the appropriate team member for additional services.
  • Prioritize learning about products and services, and navigate internal portals to find answers efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as required.
