Mon Fri, 8a 4p - On-Call Shift
Schedule:
Mon Fri, 5p 8a Weekends (1-2 per month) - Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance:
Travel, airfare, lodging, and car rental covered
- Patient Volume/Census:
Inpatient: varies;
Outpatient: 18-22 per day - Rounding:
Daily rounding, 1-2 hours
- EMR System:
Meditech (20% EMR, 80% paper)
- Hospital Privileges
Required:
Yes - Temporary Privileges Available:
Yes
- Biopsies
- Licenses:
Active RI Medical License (or willing to obtain), DEA, CSR - Board:
Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - DEA: DEA required
- Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Perform biopsies as needed
- Round daily on inpatients (1-2 hours)
- Take night call (5pm-8am) and weekend call (1-2 weekends per month)
- Manage patient volume of 18-22 outpatients per day and variable inpatient consults
