This range is provided by Excel Academy Charter Schools. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Starting salary before crediting experience: $50,000

• Teach Secondary STEM to 8th Graders
• Collaborate with department members on curriculum refinement and implementation
• Design and implement rigorous assessments that evaluate student mastery of academic standards
• Create a safe learning environment by applying Excel’s strategies and best practices consistently
• Provide coverage as needed during non-instructional time
• Serve as a productive member of the Excel Academy community
• Do whatever it takes to uphold the school’s mission

• Ability to work effectively in a team and support others
• Openness to change, problem-solving, and seeking feedback for professional growth

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Rhode Island certification (Middle Grades 5-8, 6-12 Secondary Math) or in the process of obtaining certification
