The role develops and cares for the collection, conducts research and cataloguing, creates exhibitions and interpretation, supports teaching, fundraising and cross-museum projects.
- Full-time regular role, 35 hours per week, with hybrid eligibility; compensation follows RISD salary grades.
- Three to five years of experience for Associate Curator or five to seven for Curator; master's degree or equivalent required, PhD preferred.
- Asian art specialization and a relevant language are required;
Japanese and works-on-paper expertise are preferred.
