Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparing medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and managing medication inventory. Technicians will also document medication histories of patients at admission and assist the pharmacist with routine pharmacy duties.
Requirements:
- High school graduate
Training and Experience: Preferably a graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Special Qualifications: Must have a Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician II License. Skills in math, typing, and computers are necessary.
Schedule: Per diem, requiring availability for 6 shifts per month, including 2 weekends.
