Overview
SUMMARY:
Reports to the Programs Administrator and Program Coordinator for designated Medical Imaging Program. Teach course(s) as needed at the Brown University Health School of Medical Imaging. - Responsible for all teaching activities in course(s):
Preparing and maintaining course outlines and objectives, instructing, and evaluating students, and reporting progress. - Participating in periodic review and revision of course materials.
- Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline, as appropriate.
- Maintaining appropriate expertise and competence through continuing professional development.
- Participating in the assessment process, as needed.
- Consistently apply the corporate values of respect, honesty and fairness and the constant pursuit of excellence in improving the health status of the people of the region through the provision of customer-friendly, geographically accessible and high-value services within the environment of a comprehensive integrated academic health system.
- Holds academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content taught.
- Is knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Ability to write and communicate effectively with faculty and student population.
Teaching instruction is performed in an online, hybrid or traditional classroom setting.
Independent ActionPerforms independently within department policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to supervisor where clarification of departmental policies and procedures may be required.
Salary$36.96-$60.97
