Pharmacy Technician II PT EVE, E​/O Weekend

Job Summary

Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions.

Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission and assist the pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.

Part Time 8/16 - Every Other Weekend Only 2:30p-11p

Must have availability during week to train.

• High school graduate
• Preferably a graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Must have Rhode Island Pharmacist Technician II License
• Skills in Math, typing, and computers are necessary.
