Diagnostic Imaging Assistant 40D – Care New England

The Imaging Assistant provides assistance to the Technologists in preparing the room and patients for exams, and providing general operational support. The incumbent transports patients, pulls film/paperwork for each exam, keeps area clean and properly supplied, assists in preparing for next day’s work, answers telephone calls, and performs other job-related duties as requested.

• High School graduate with two years experience in patient care position or graduate of Nursing Assistant Training program.
• Must obtain CPR Certification within six months and maintain it on an annual basis.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated cooperative attitude toward teamwork and initiative.
• Proficiency in the English language required.
