Research Project Manager
The Research Project Manager provides research and administrative support to the Division of Research which directly supports the research mission of the Department of OB-GYN. Acts as the coordinator for the research educational programs run by the Division and a liaison for research protocol development that stems from educational programs. Performs administrative functions, including grant submission preparation (generates budgets and justifications, bio sketches, letters of support, resource pages, other support pages) and regulatory/IRB compliance.
Serves as a resource to other department staff regarding grant submissions and IRB. Assists in research project and clinical trial set-up and execution. Collaborates with Senior Division Manager to create divisional policies and educational tools. Mentors and trains research staff. Must demonstrate initiative in organizing and prioritizing own workload.
- Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred
- Experience in research procedures/techniques, grant writing, public health, and/or program coordination, preferably in an academic/medical research environment.
- Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
