Front Desk Agent 2nd Shift – Step Stone Hospitality

The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, a Step Stone Hospitality managed hotel.
Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent will greet guests and associates with a friendly, service‑oriented manner, providing information, recommendations, and directions to ensure satisfactory responses. The agent will handle all inquiries and requests from hotel and dining guests, offering a high level of customer service.

Schedule:
Weekdays, weekends, and holidays required. 2nd shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
- Register and assign rooms to guests.
- Issue room keys and escort instructions to Guest Service Agent or directly to the guest.
- Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
- Transmit and receive messages via all communication avenues.
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Maintain records of room availability and rates.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all communication avenues.
- Post charges to guest bills where interfaces are inoperable or via advisement.
- Reserve transportation or entertainment for guests.
- Deposit guest valuables in safe deposit box.
- Use office software accurately.
- Have full working knowledge of each shift, including night audit.
- Will be doubly trained as front desk and hotel operator.
Requirements: Relevant education and work experience will be considered, but a natural aptitude for the listed tasks and values aligned with Step Stone Hospitality are the primary selection criteria.
