LineCook (AM)
As an essential member of our culinary team, the Line Cook will prepare high‑quality dishes for the restaurant, banquets, and executive lounge, ensuring each plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety while working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook all food items according to standardized recipes and hotel standards.
- Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to service to ensure prompt and efficient operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas, following “Clean As You Go” policy.
- Prepare and display buffet items and banquet dishes as specified by Banquet Event Orders.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with food storage and rotation according to hotel procedures.
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and certification requirements.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and team members.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with state requirements).
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- CPR and first aid training preferred.
