Front Desk Agent – Part Time Weekends

Step Stone Hospitality is hiring a Front Desk Agent for part‑time weekend coverage. The role involves managing guest interactions, reservations, billing, and other front desk duties across 24/7 operations.

• Issue room keys and provide escort instructions to guests or Guest Service Agents.
• Sort, track, and receive incoming mail and messages.
• Transmit and respond to messages via all communication channels.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, and local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel options.
• Maintain room availability and rate records.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and provide change to guests.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations using all communication channels.
• Post charges (room, food, liquor, telephone) to guest bills.
• Arrange transportation and entertainment reservations for guests.
• Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box.
• Use office software accurately.
• Operate effectively during each shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Customer service experience; hotel experience preferred. Experience with Marriott systems and/or Lightspeed PMS is a plus.
• Current Indiana alcohol server permit or willingness to obtain license immediately upon hire.
• Unrestricted Indiana Driver’s License with no major infractions in the past 7 years (preferred).
• Weekend availability required; holiday availability coordinated within weekend schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma required. Additional training, experience, and education preferred.
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability is viewed favorably.
• Can lift 20 pounds and pull 20 pounds; capable of pushing, bending, stooping, reaching, and maintaining manual dexterity.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Actively listens, conveys information clearly, and works respectfully with coworkers.
