Temporary Senior Associate, Open Shift Engineer
Join our Digital Nexus technology organization to support the Open Shift platform as a Temporary Senior Engineer for a twelve‑month assignment.

- Provide expert‑level technical support to application teams using the Open Shift platform; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Open Shift virtualization or other virtualization platforms.
- Collaborate with application teams to understand requirements and recommend optimizations for Open Shift deployments.
- Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry trends and platform enhancements.
- Work with operations and middleware teams to ensure timely issue resolution; participate in on‑call rotations for 24/7 critical support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and automation scripts to improve support processes.
- Mentor and train junior support engineers on Open Shift best practices.
- Minimum three years of recent experience managing medium‑to‑large scale container platforms, including rollout, automation, and scaling.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with Open Shift installation, configuration, and troubleshooting; solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
- Experience engineering CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments with tools such as Git Hub Actions or Jenkins.
- Proficient scripting skills in Shell, Bash, Python, or Power Shell; experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills; ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams.
- Detail‑oriented with strong technical writing skills and time‑management abilities.
