Senior System Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and business process analysis for a large-scale, integrated eligibility/case-management system. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, deep experience with complex system workflows, and the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements. This role involves close collaboration with business users, operations teams, technical vendors, and leadership stakeholders.

• Perform UAT validations for change requests, enhancements, and production incidents.
• Design and execute test cases to ensure system changes meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and internal partners to validate functionality.
• Conduct ad hoc data script validations and verify accuracy of notices and system outputs in the live environment.
• Validate KPI metrics and automate standard data queries using SQL to support internal quality checks.

• Generate and analyze data reports from backend data repositories.
• Use SQL to validate data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and automate repeatable validation scripts.
• Support operational teams, administrative groups, and leadership with required data and analysis.
• Prepare documentation, data summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor, track, and elevate incident tickets to ensure timely business-focused resolution.
• Partner with Tier II/technical teams to evaluate live cases, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in case reviews with operations teams and provide data-driven insights.

• Lead and participate in system design sessions.
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Develop use cases, process flow diagrams, gap analyses, and workflow documentation.
• Translate program policies and business needs into testable and reusable data queries or functional specifications.
• Produce the documentation needed for system design, build, testing, and implementation.

• Act as a liaison between business users, program subject‑matter experts, and contracted technical teams.
• Provide demonstrations and walkthroughs of system changes to leadership or external agencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional discussions to support system integration, data validation, and workflow improvements.
• Deliver regular updates and status reports to project leads and management.

• 8–10 years of experience performing UAT, system analysis, and business requirements documentation.
• Strong experience working with large integrated systems or case‑management platforms.
• Proven ability to translate business policy or requirements into data logic or SQL query scripts.
• Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries and validating data script outputs.
• Experience developing use cases, workflow diagrams, UML models, or process flows.
• Experience with gap analysis and mapping current‑state vs. future‑state workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow detailed processes with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting field operations or customer‑facing service teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, cross‑functional teams, and external agencies.
• Experience generating reports using visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience working with social services, public‑sector programs, or eligibility‑based systems.
• Familiarity with structured application delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, RUP).
• Ability to independently develop solutions, test plans, job aids, and documentation.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
