Job Description:
Role Overview :Lead the end-to-end transformation from Microsoft 365 G3 to G5 for the State of Rhode Island. Drive planning, execution, and deployment of advanced security, compliance, and analytics features to meet government mandates while ensuring a smooth user transition.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management:
Define scope, timelines, budgets; manage resources and vendors. - Technical Oversight:
Implement G5 features (Defender, ATP, encryption), compliance tools (eDiscovery, DLP), and new capabilities (Teams Phone, Power BI Pro). - Stakeholder & Change Management:
Conduct progress meetings, manage OCM, and coordinate training. - Risk & Compliance:
Perform risk assessments and ensure adherence to FedRAMP, CMMC, and audit requirements.
Skills:
- 15+ years in IT project management with complex migrations.
- Strong understanding of G3 vs G5 features and security.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Jira; excellent leadership and communication skills.
