Role:
Salesforce Technical Architect
Location:
Cranston, RI (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension)
Hours:
35 hours/week
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:00 PM
IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of a Salesforce-based system within a public-sector environment. This role will work closely with project teams, leadership, and implementation partners to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce solutions that follow established standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements and project goals are met
- Review and oversee Salesforce technical architecture and solution design
- Lead technical design sessions and document architecture solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and platform guidelines
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and proper design patterns
- Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems
- Design and support data sharing and third-party integrations
- Support custom development, integrations, deployments, and maintenance
- Ensure solutions align with security, performance, and scalability standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of Salesforce CRM experience as an Architect or Architect/Implementor
- Expert knowledge of the Salesforce platform and product suite
- Strong experience with system architecture and scalable solution design
- Hands-on experience with data migration and large data sets
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and data sharing models
- Knowledge of authentication methods (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
- Understanding of release management, deployments, and version control
- Experience with Salesforce security standards and protocols
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
