Assistant Shipping Supervisor

Hours: Tuesday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime may be required based on demand.

Salary: $27.35 per hour, increasing to $28.85 within 6 months.

Summary: The Assistant Shipping Supervisor is responsible for assisting the department supervisor in overseeing operations and ensuring company standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Promote efficiency and continuous improvement
• Conduct new-hire and ongoing safety training
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and SOPs
• Report safety concerns and operational issues
• Serve as the supervisor during absences
• Perform shipping and production duties as needed
• Maintain dependable attendance and support departmental goals

• Two years of supervisory experience
• Highly organized and deadline-driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and pallet wrappers is helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 25 pounds
