Quality Molding Inspector Providence Rhode

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspection during production run of 14,800 units (Mars October PO).
• Follow client’s PURRFECT PORTAL Inspection Guide.
• Verify tooling maintenance records (if client-owned).
• Confirm injection molding parameters.
• Execute MARS First Article checklist.
• Review dimensional records of molded parts.
• Verify against product drawings and artwork (to be requested).
• Inspection focus points to be finalized once manufacturer provides Process Flow/Control Plan.
• Prepare detailed inspection report per client requirements.

• 5+ years in plastics inspection, preferably with injection molding processes.
• ISO 9001 auditing/inspection background preferred.
• Dimensional measurement training or equivalent experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding plastics and parameters.
• Familiar with tooling/mold maintenance requirements.
• Skilled in First Article Inspections (FAI) and dimensional measurement.
• Ability to interpret client product drawings and artwork.
• Proficient in in-process quality checks (not only pre-shipment).
• Strong reporting ability using client-specific inspection guides.
