Environmental Technician II will be responsible for the separation and packaging of hazardous material for transport and treatment and complete the required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.

• Separate, sort, and pack hazardous material for transport
• Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
• Keep the work area clean and organized during the course of the shift
• Follow safety protocols for assigned tasks
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack
• Have the ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Ability to wear company‑provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel‑toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
• Ability to move or lift 50 lbs with the use of equipment if needed
  
  Ability to follow written or verbal procedures consistently
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions

• Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift, and possesses a safe driving record
• Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations
• Basic chemistry knowledge
