Position Summary:

In this role you will operate wire drawing equipment. Wire drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the cross-section of a wire by pulling the wire through a single, or series of, drawing die(s) to meet customer specifications. • Draw round, shaped wire in various alloys meeting product specifications
• Set up, operate bull block, 8 strand and 10 strand wire drawing equipment
• Operate batch, strand annealing furnaces
• Follow documented procedures and process routers for various alloys
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
• Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a rigorous background check
• Previous production experience preferred

• Frequent lifting of between 10 lbs. and 70 lbs.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day
• Moderate to loud noise level
• Fast-paced environment: subject to priority changes and short-notice activity
