Sciton is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Palo Alto. In this role, you will perform hands‑on mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical assembly to support the production of our industry‑leading medical aesthetic laser systems. The ideal candidate is precise, dependable, and collaborative, with strong manual dexterity and a commitment to quality. • Be responsible for performing entry‑level mechanical, electronic, optomechanical, or electro‑mechanical assembly or system‑level assembly operations using various hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Follow product methods to perform standard tasks such as component installation, electrical wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, plumbing, gluing, cleaning, labeling, and packaging sub‑assemblies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, protocols, and industry regulations.

• Final quality check of the system against the final checklist.
• Preparation of system accessories.
• Packing/crating the system and accessories for shipment.
• Uncrate and log‑in field returns.
• Automotive mechanical experience a plus.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in an assembly environment desired.
• Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to routinely stand or sit for up to 2 hours.
• Ability to routinely bend, reach, stoop, push and pull.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with team members.

• Proficient in using pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for discrepancies, flaws, errors, missing and wrong parts, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure of meeting shipping deadlines.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly without compromising quality or productivity.
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, reach, stoop, and kneel without difficulty, as needed to perform job functions.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds several times per day.
• Ability to work outdoors in all environments

The salary range for this position is $22-$25k. In addition to a competitive market‑based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit‑sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k with matching.
