We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machine Operator to join our award-winning team.
OverviewNexxt Spine is seeking an experienced CNC SWISS Operator to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial to ensuring the production of high-quality parts and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Job Responsibilities- Setup and operate Citizen Swiss lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Understand and make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products using inspection equipment such as optical comparators, micrometers, and calipers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired results.
- Deburr and clean parts.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and solve production issues.
- Clean and maintain CNC equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet production goals and deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- High level of knowledge in tooling.
- Capable of completing frequent set-ups to run a variety of parts.
- Proficient in making tool changes.
- Ability to make offsets to produce quality parts.
- Experience with automatic bar loaders.
- 3+ years of experience of setup and operation of SWISS Lathes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of shop tools and machines.
- Self-motivated to produce high-quality parts.
- Team-oriented and capable of working with limited supervision.
- Strong desire to learn.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Great dexterity to work with implants and instrumentation.
- Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
