The role of the General Laborer is to support daily manufacturing operations by performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure efficient production flow. This full‑time, temporary position is responsible for assisting with the safe efficient relocation and setting up of manufacturing equipment within the facility. This position supports production and maintenance teams by moving equipment, materials and machinery as needed to accommodate workflow changes and plant layout adjustments.

This position will mostly work in the direction of the Senior Operations Manager through verbal instructions. This role reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager and is based in Vineland, New Jersey. The General Laborer will be a reliable, hard‑working, and motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and dedication to a team environment. Training will be provided for all essential job functions.

• Assist in the movement, positioning, and installation of production equipment, materials and machinery.
• Support production staff during equipment relocations, installations, and removals.
• Maintain organized and safe work areas during all moves and set ups.
• Transport tools, hardware, and materials to and from designated areas as needed.
• Assist with facility layout changes, including moving workstations, shelving, materials, and support equipment.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned to support production and maintenance operations.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Familiarity with basic hand tools used in production or maintenance work.
• Ability to assist with equipment set up, light maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Ability to work based on verbal and/or written instruction.
• Forklift experience is a plus

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate the equipment and tools required for this position.
• Must be able to quickly respond (with the hand, finger or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it responds.
• Ability to perform work under a variety of weather conditions.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Approximately 10% Office
• Approximately 90% Light Industrial - Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.

This position is non-exempt. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is between $17 and $18 per hour.
