Overview

Looking for Transformation! Join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS). Full-time opportunity available with competitive wages and great benefits. Long term care or subacute experience required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the DON in working with management staff, Administrator, and Consultants in planning all aspects of the nursing operation, including setting priorities and job assignments.
  • Monitor each unit’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist, coach, and discipline as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and the medical team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, coordinate with other support services, ensure the cleanliness and appearance of residents, and maintain staff morale to proactively meet residents’ needs.
  • Carry out, coordinate, and manage administrative functions in areas or programs related to Nursing Services.
Requirements
  • COVID Vaccination Required
  • Must possess valid unencumbered RN State License. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting.
  • Experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
  • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Knowledge to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Supportive team member who contributes to and exemplifies teamwork and team concept.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and applicable laws and guidelines for nursing care facilities.
