Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN-ER) to join our fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate and effective care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries, triaging cases based on severity, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes under pressure.

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on urgency and medical need.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and neurological cases.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments, and update care teams accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and assist with procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive emergency care.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Adhere to infection control policies and emergency protocols, including CPR and advanced life support practices.
• Remain calm and efficient during high-stress, high-acuity situations.

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with trauma-certified facilities or Level I/II trauma centers.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred
