Ideal Candidates Will Possess- Active RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
- Experience in a school nursing environment, preferably at the middle or high school level
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly to student health needs
- Familiarity with medication administration and health room documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence managing health concerns independently
- Provide daily care for students who visit the health room with symptoms of illness or injury
- Administer prescribed medications according to parental and physician instructions
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for student visits
- Communicate with students, families, and school staff regarding health issues as appropriate
- Promote healthy practices and serve as a resource for health-related questions
- Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
This contract runs through June 17, and you'll have the unique experience of working independently in a dedicated nurse's office, making a real difference in students' school experiences.
