Job DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Specialist, where you will ensure our Quality Management System (QMS) complies with regulatory requirements and customer specifications. You will facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across production and business operations, maintaining and controlling quality documentation.
Responsibilities- Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) complies with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Facilitate and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across production and business operations.
- Maintain, organize, and control quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing records, documentation, and evidence of compliance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production and quality data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Use Excel to create pivot tables and develop dashboards, metrics, and reports for management review.
- Serve as a compliance and quality resource for engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
- Support supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection documentation review and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Quality Compliance, particularly AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot table creation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in quality administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
This role is within a contract manufacturing environment that supports various markets such as medical, military, and semiconductor industries. It offers a great opportunity for engineering students from tech schools interested in electronics. Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Cranston, RI.
Pay & BenefitsPay range: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
