Research Scientist
As a Nanodetector Scientist, you will serve as an individual contributor reporting directly to the Director of Nanodetector Development. You will focus on detector performance, developing test plans, automated run protocols, and analyses that drive stable DNA transport through our nanodetector chips to maximize the efficiency and improve the data quality of the resulting electronic signals.
Drawing on your expertise at the intersection of device physics, microfluidics, and nanotechnology, you'll tackle improvements in both detector physics and instrument- and detector-level fluidics. You'll apply data-driven methods to optimize the system, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate improvements, and evaluate emerging technologies to keep our platform ahead. This hands-on role is on-site in Providence, RI, and demands a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and the drive to move product development forward.
