Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Chef Manager for Brown Health located in Providence, RI. This position will be responsible for a corporate cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday, as well as catering operations. The manager will oversee a small team of hourly employees.
What You’ll Do- have oversight of day-to-day operations in the cafeteria, overseeing hourly associates
- deliver high quality food service
- develop and maintain effective client and customer relationships
- plan all menus and adjust accordingly with business needs, place orders/maintain inventory
- meet all financial objectives for the account
- ensure Sodexo standards are met

- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- can manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional communication skills with executive leadership
- a strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, and inventory
- Serv Safe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits
