Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour, maximum 29 hours per week
Reports To:
Culinary Director
- Ensure the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Possess a commitment to safe food handling procedures
- Wear proper attire while on duty ie. closed toe and heel, non-skid shoes, clean apron as
- needed, hair net to be worn at all times during the kitchen shift
- Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and mealtimes
- Set up the satellite sites before mealtimes
- Serve breakfast and lunch
- Basic food preparations such as chopping, peeling, etc.
- Clean the kitchen
- Ability to drive to satellite campus
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Serv Safe certification (will provide training)
- Must be able to positively interact with students and staff daily
- Must be alcohol & drug-free with a Background Criminal Investigation (BCI)
- Must be able to take and read directions
- Must be able to stand on your feet for several hours
- Positive and team player
- Kitchen/ Restaurant/ Culinary experience preferred
