About the Role
Fit + Fresh is the leading designer and manufacturer of lunch bags in the U.S., distributing to over 35,000 retail locations, including Walmart, Target, and Amazon. We are experiencing rapid growth in retail and have created this Account Manager role to support the Sales Account Management Team for our Grocery channel.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned grocery retail accounts
- Build strong relationships with buyers, replenishment managers, and supply chain partners
- Act as a trusted advisor and category expert to retail partners
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand inline and seasonal assortments
- Identify whitespace opportunities and new product placements within the grocery channel
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to inform assortment and pricing strategies
- Ensure 100% accuracy of item setups, purchase orders, and promotional submissions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance to deliver operational excellence
- Track sales and inventory performance, making proactive recommendations to optimize in‑stock and sell‑through
- Maintain weekly trackers on sales, inventory, and promotional performance
- Provide regular recaps to internal leadership and retail partners
- Travel as required for key account meetings, market visits, and trade shows
- Experience in consumer‑packaged goods and grocery/retail account management
- Genuine interest in style‑driven products and market trends
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple timelines, promotions, and item setups
- Comfortable with sales data, forecasting, margins, and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail in pricing, promotional submissions, and item maintenance
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Problem‑solving mindset, resourceful, adaptable, and calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in Excel (lookup formulas, pivots) and retailer portals; quick to learn new systems
Ready to travel for key account meetings, market visits, and trade shows as needed.
