Account Executive - Business Development

Market: Full‑time hybrid position based in Providence, RI and Southeast Massachusetts Region, within a 45‑minute drive of Providence.

Compensation: Base salary (USD 50,000–60,000) plus uncapped commission, benefits, expenses, unlimited vacation, and more.

Position Details: We are looking for an innovative and driven Account Executive to lead new client acquisition. The ideal candidate has proven success in B2B sales, managing acquired accounts, and executing strategic objectives to exceed local advertising revenue goals. You will prospect qualified leads, consult to identify growth opportunities, and deliver compelling digital marketing strategies. The role involves face‑to‑face client meetings, presentations, and proposals, driving growth through new accounts and upselling existing ones.

Experience Desired:

  • 3+ years in a high‑acquisition, consultative B2B sales role and a college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Track record of building a book of new business clients with strong prospecting, planning, and time‑management skills.
  • Experience selling custom multi‑tactic digital advertising campaigns, including mobile, SEO/SEM, email, social, and other offerings. Google AdWords and Analytics certifications preferred but not required.
  • Collaborative, quick‑pivoting team contributor.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with a persuasive, patient, and compassionate approach.
  • Experience with CRM tools (daily use required).
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (minimum state requirements).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
