We are expanding and seeking a driven, technically skilled Engineered Sales professional to join our growing team and support mechanical and rotating equipment solutions.
AboutThe Role
As an Engineered Sales professional, you will act as both a sales strategist and technical consultant, helping customers design, select, and implement equipment that improves performance and efficiency. This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys hands‑on equipment exposure, solving complex challenges, and building long‑term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead outside sales activities for pumps, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
- Design, select, and size equipment based on customer specifications and project requirements
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver custom‑engineered solutions
- Negotiate vendor pricing and coordinate purchasing and deliveries
- Track project timelines and manage budgets
- Provide field support during installation, startup, and operation
- Troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Engineer with a sales‑oriented mindset or an experienced outside sales professional with strong mechanical or pump system knowledge
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and results‑driven
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to overcome objections
- Creative thinker capable of generating new business opportunities
- 5+ years of experience in technical, mechanical, or industrial sales
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using CRM tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site best practices
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check
