Appliance Repair Technician role at Sears Home Services – In Home.

• Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances—including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves—while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience that consistently exceeds expectations.
• Provide customers with value‑added solutions to improve the cleanliness, comfort, and protection of their homes.
• Keep the company truck well‑maintained and organized, and help manage parts efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including the use of testing and repair tools.
• Preferred experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances.
• Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
• Comfort with using a smartphone for part ordering.
• Successful completion of a background and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written technical text.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs (often up to 50 lbs; occasionally 100 lbs) and stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, twist, and carry objects up to shoulder height.
• Ability to drive an automatic‑transmission vehicle.
