Responsible for supporting electrical and fire alarm systems at the 40 Westminster Street Building. Candidate must possess a valid journeyman electrician license and have the experience necessary to assist with the maintenance and repair of electrical components throughout the facility.

The position also requires a minimum of a Boiler Operator's license and the ability to follow established procedures related to HVAC systems, security systems, and other assigned building operations.

• Week 1:
  Sunday through Thursday (off Friday and Saturday)
• Week 2:
  Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday (off Thursday)
• Week 3:
  Sunday through Thursday (off Friday and Saturday)

• Responsible for general electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs throughout the building.
• Support HVAC system maintenance and upgrades as directed.
• Help maintain the Fire Alarm System and assist in training Building Engineers as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical components and perform service as needed.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used electrical parts and assist in procurement of components.
• Participate in renovation projects within the building as assigned.
• Understand and support the operation of automated energy management systems and pneumatic temperature controls.
• Safely operate ladders, hand tools, and powered equipment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• General knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, fire suppression systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with snow removal during winter months using equipment or manual methods as needed.

• Be flexible and able to perform building engineer duties when required, including:
• Monitoring and repairing temperature controls.
• Performing routine HVAC maintenance (e.g., filter changes, boiler checks).
• Responding to tenant needs and ensuring safety in and around the building.
• Supporting general building maintenance and minimizing tenant discomfort.
• Working independently with minimal supervision when necessary.

• Must have a valid journeyman electrician license.
• Must obtain a boiler operator's license.
• Must have a mechanical background and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
• Will be on call for electrical issues and emergencies.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certified.
• OSHA 10 Training required.
• Educational Background:
• High School Graduate.
• Vocational degree or equivalent experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, or plumbing preferred.
