CDL B Local Route Driver – Providence, RI

North East Electrical is seeking a full‑time, local‑route CDL B Driver to join our growing team in Providence, RI.

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 6:30 a.m. start. Rate: $25.50/hr.

• Deliver materials to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain the vehicle in proper working condition – conduct daily inspections.
• Load and unload trucks and move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart or other devices.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletise, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

• Valid CDL B license with a clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Moffitt Certification preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 75 lb.
• Strong math and reading skills.
