- Expand influence by building trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams across the organization.
- Own specific areas of the month‑end close process, completing requirements on time and with accuracy, requiring minimal oversight.
- Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations, understanding US GAAP and flagging transactions for technical review when needed.
- Work with internal and external auditors.
- Assist in preparing schedules and financial statements for annual audits.
- Identify gaps in current systems and processes, proposing automation solutions.
- Help with other accounting duties and ad‑hoc requests as they arise.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus at least 1 year of accounting experience.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to remain flexible in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Team‑oriented, but able to work independently.
- Great oral and written communication skills.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience with Net Suite, VBA macros, AI, and other data analytics tools.
