Staff Accountant

This position will have a lot of variability in what you can do. It's a full-time position located at our office in Downtown Provo.

Primarily, this role will be responsible for the bookkeeping tasks for several assigned clients. Complete the bookkeeping process for each client each month, manage workload efficiently, communication effectively with clients, meet reporting and deliverable deadlines, assist with additional tasks and clean-up as needed.

We also do plenty of client consultations on various topics that you can be trained on as well.

We're a small firm but that allows you to work on a wide variety of projects, including payroll, sales tax, entity creation, tax planning, bookkeeping, QBO training and consulting, etc.

• Bachelors of Accountancy required. (Degree in-progress considered)
• Experience with Quick Books required (Online preferred).
• Experience with Excel preferred.
• Experience with Income Tax, Sales Tax, and/or Payroll Compliance is a plus.
• Experience with bookkeeping clean-up a plus.
• 3+ years experience in accounting/bookkeeping preferred (public accounting a plus)
• Must be able to work independently to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Work environment can be very fast-paced, must learn quickly and be a self-starter.
