Accountant – Wasatch Behavioral Health

Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary $23.35–$29.58 per hour (DOE). Sign‑on/Retention Bonus $6,000 (half on first paycheck, half after one year). Existing WBH employees are ineligible for the sign‑on/retention bonus.

• Record revenues and expenses for contracts funding behavioral health services.
• Perform duties related to business operations and month‑end close.
• Accounts Receivable: adjust receivables, reconcile patient and third‑party accounts monthly, audit accounts, prepare trial balance support for contract revenue and AR accounts, input contract and EFT payments.
• Monitor contract billings: prepare billings and reports, maintain contract records for auditors, record receipt payments, code payments, perform general ledger reconciliations, investigate missing/outstanding payments, prepare management reports on billing issues and balances, validate billing system data, prepare revenue confirmation letters for auditors.
• Fixed Assets: maintain capital asset records using accounting software, assist with annual fixed‑asset inventory, prepare monthly depreciation report, maintain electronic records, support trial balances.

Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least one year of demonstrable experience.
