Aggregates and Paving Estimator – BHI, CO
Join BHI as a full‑time Aggregates and Paving Estimator to perform a full range of business activities in a professional setting while adhering to the highest ethical standards. The Estimator will prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for base and paving projects, conduct takeoffs and pricing for base layers, asphalt paving, and related tasks.
This position is located in our North Salt Lake or Ogden offices.
Salary: $90,000‑$125,000 (depends on experience) – paid weekly. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with match, and paid time off (PTO).
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for base and paving projects.
- Conduct takeoffs and pricing for base layers, asphalt paving, and related tasks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners.
- Learn and apply estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
- Previous aggregates and paving estimating experience is required.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek, and Estimate (B2W).
- Strong communication, attention to detail, safety awareness, and customer service skills.
