Spa Receptionist – Sundance Mountain Resort
Apply for the Spa Receptionist position at Sundance Mountain Resort.
Pay RangeBase pay: $16.00 per hour (the actual rate will be based on skills and experience – discuss with a recruiter for more details).
Responsibilities- Promote a positive and healthy working environment for spa staff.
- Understand spa needs and take initiative to complete them.
- Fulfill reasonable requests of staff, guests, and management.
- Create an ambiance for relaxation and assist with complimentary foot baths.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the spa experience.
- Communicate guest or service concerns to management and team.
- Maintain front desk and all service areas.
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Inform and educate clients about services, retail items, and Sundance’s environmental commitment.
- Book, bill, and schedule all spa services.
- Exhibit sound judgment in maintaining treatment schedules and confirming appointments.
- Greet guests warmly and conduct opening/closing procedures according to spa policy.
- Assist in keeping dispensary clean and organized, support the recycling program, and restock refreshments.
- Maintain punctual, consistent attendance and performance of job duties.
- Hold other staff accountable for compliance with spa policy and procedures.
- Present a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Multi‑task and work well under pressure.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service, telephone, computer, and organizational skills; retail experience mandatory.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation, and electronic mail; database and Excel proficiency required.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
- Excellent verbal communication, able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Physical ability to sit, talk, walk, use hands, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
