Required Degree:

MS in Physics, or closely related field. PhD preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Experience teaching college-level introductory physics courses.

Duties/Expectations:

Teach the following introductory courses and associated labs:

PHSCS 121:
Introduction to Newtonian MechanicsPHSCS 123:
Introduction to Waves, Optics, and ThermodynamicsPHSCS 127:
Introduction to Descriptive AstronomyPHSCS 137:
Introduction to Energy, Climate, and the EnvironmentPHSCS 167:
Introduction to Descriptive Acoustics of Music and Speech Prepare course materials, assess student performance, maintain accurate records, support student learning, and follow departmental and institutional policies.
